The Village Learning Place, a community library & learning center, is seeking energetic and positive individuals to join our team.

We have immediate positions available for:

Adolescent & Family Programs Coordinator (year-round, full time position)

Oversee the VLP’s after-school & summer programming for middle school students as well as adult programs for family members of our students (ie. computer classes, adult basic education, parenting workshops, etc.)

 Lead Teacher (year-round, full time position)

The Lead Teacher is responsible for managing all classroom activities (2nd/3rd grade) in the VLP’s after-school and summer programs including:  program delivery, recruitment and enrollment of program participants, management of volunteers and classroom assistants. Additionally, the Lead Teacher travels during daytime hours to area schools delivering literacy activities to primary classes.
