The success of the Village Library and Learning Center depends on a consistent and energetic force of community volunteers. Why not join this effort? The hours are flexible, the atmosphere is welcoming, the rewards are immeasurable.  We also offer community service hours.  For more information, please call Darran Tilghman at  410-235-2210, ext. 204 or darran@villagelearningplace.org

We have the following volunteer positions open:

  • Computer Lab Monitor

  • Computer Course Teacher

  • Garden Day Helper (Garden Days are scheduled for Saturdays: August 18th from 9 am to 12 pm.)

  • Baltimore Free University Course Teacher- The BFU and the VLP have formed a great partnership.  The VLP is now seeking volunteers to teach BFU courses (student registration costs benefit the VLP).  Courses can be practically any topic!
