The VLP is excited to have you attend our FREE 25th Birthday Bash! We are so excited to celebrate this landmark birthday with our community and honor how far we have come to further our mission to promote literacy, cultural awareness, and lifelong learning for all ages.

Saturday, November 5th will be a day full of fun, music, and activities for all ages! Rain or Shine!

Adult Workshops

Improv with Baltimore Improv Group @ 12:30pm

Through simple, fun, and supportive games, participants will explore basic concepts like playfulness, listening, and agreement – all in a safe and comfortable setting geared specifically toward those who are new to improv. Low stakes, huge fun!

Cheese Pairing with Gertrude's Restaurant @ 2pm

Spend an hour with General Manager of Gertrude’s, Paul Wright, as he shares how best to pair a delicious cheese with the right beverage! Whether it be wine, cider, or even mead!

Sip & Paint with Brick Art @ 3:30pm

Grab a beverage of your choice and get to work creating your piece of art with the help of artist Jonathan Brickus, owner of Brick Art.

Craft Cocktail Mixology with Baltimore Spirit Company @5pm

Learn the art of mixology by joining us for an hour of craft cocktail-making led by our friends at Baltimore Spirit Company!

Cornhole Tournament

Cornhole Tournament

Cornhole Tournament from 1pm-5pm. Cornhole tournament team check-in starts @ Noon.
Teams of two (2) may register to play in the tournament online in advance or in-person registration will take place day of from Noon-1pm on Saturday, November 5, 2022. $20 donation (for pair) to compete.

Tournament Cash Prize: 1^st place $100, 2^nd $50; & 3^rd $25
